After 17 wonderful days, 65 medals depicting Team GB’s success an explosive closing ceremony descended upon us. I was delighted to complete Olympic Red with my final painting in the series finished after the medal win of Emily Campbell who claimed bronze in our last triumph of the Olympics. Based on the Olympic rings and the themes of the colours, I hope I have captured the games in a way that can be celebrated for many years to come.

With special thanks to Team GB for having me again and my friend and video editor Anthony Thomas for helping me catch the games. He’s been my great friend for 11 years now and has documented most of my career as a professional artist. The challenge now would be to try and exhibit these paintings somewhere where people can enjoy them for a while. Two have sold and there are three plus the opening ceremony to look at, but in the meantime Id like to look into the possibility of the paintings being displayed for people to see. Not sure how but let’s try!
