Ben Mosley
Ben Mosley’s work at Wembley Stadium spans multiple large-scale murals and paintings celebrating the stadium’s past, present, and legacy. One major installation brings together the old and new Wembley through a sequence of twelve canvases: six paintings depicting the 1966 World Cup victory and six celebrating the new Wembley and England’s win over Spain, all visually linked by a continuous crowd that flows off the canvases, onto the wall, and culminates in the final central piece.
In addition, Mosley created a second mural inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, forming a detailed timeline of historic moments at Wembley from 1923 to 2013. Alongside these works, he has produced paintings displayed across the east and west concourses and has live-painted at major occasions including the FA Cup and the Champions League Final, creating work in real time within one of world sport’s most iconic venues.
