Ben Mosley is a contemporary British artist who has worked professionally since completing his Fine Art degree at the University of Liverpool in 2003. His paintings bring together architecture, sport and the narrative, with a particular focus on football paintings, rugby paintings and London cityscape paintings. Many of his paintings incorporate real 24 carat gold leaf, adding richness while creating structure and balance through shape and pattern. Influenced by Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso, Mosley’s work is recognised for its strong composition and considered use of colour. Above is a selection of current original works.
