It was terrific to meet and produce a live painting for some of the most celebrated legends in British Sport. It’s always very special to meet Sir Geoff Hurst one any occasion who is absolutely first class in every way. I was delighted that Sir Geoff bought a painting off me a few years back of his celebrated 4th goal that won England the World Cup in 1966. ‘They think it’s all over, it is now’ we had a chat and as a massive England fan I’m genuinely humbled and privileged that someone like Sir Geoff remembered me and took the time to have a word. A memory I will cherish forever. The painting below depicts Nigel Benn, Sir Geoff, Ben Morgan, Amy Williams, Mike Tindall and Harry Redknapp all champions in their respective sports In action. Using lots of real 24k gold, the painting was created live at Cheltenham Racecourse for various charities that Ben Morgan supports, another absolute first class gent in every way. it was a wonderful event. thanks for having me Ben!!
