Hey everyone, so below shows me hand stretching a particular canvas. I work closely with an excellent carpenter who helps me build the frame and then I hand stretch the canvas. I think it is important as an artist to build the frame from scratch and hand stretch the canvas wherever possible, as then you are assured of the quality and standard of the canvas.
