“Having my work at the national stadium is a huge honour and I’m very proud that Club Wembley has forty paintings of mine on display.”
As an Englishman, Ben is passionate about the National Anthem and believes that the tradition of singing it at Wembley brings people together. Wembley stadium is known throughout the world and the connection with fans runs deep, with the stadium renowned as the home of football. A place where childhood dreams are realised when you score the winning FA Cup goal.
Ben is regarded as Club Wembley’s artist in residence
and has a solo exhibition on display around the
concourse of the stadium. In 2013, he created a live
painting during the F.A. Cup semi-final between
Chelsea and Manchester City. It shows the two teams
lining up before the game in celebration of the
national anthem, which is an F.A. Cup tradition.
