Ben was commissioned by the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai to create a painting to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the illustrious Golf Club. His painting titled ‘Emirates 25’ was created in front of a live audience during the Dubai Desert Classic and showcases the golf tournament’s unique golf setting. He also produced paintings of Henrik Stenson and Tiger Woods during the tournament.

A live painter has to be more than just an artist at a major sporting occasion. Having to deal with everything from the heat, to the way that the public approaches you, is all part of the performance. Ben likens Dubai to the Paris of the old days, a place which old masters such as Picasso and Toulouse-Lautrec would make a pilgrimage to – a modern-day reflection of today’s society.
