Team GB moved past 50 medals at the Tokyo Olympics as cyclist Matt Walls secured gold in the omnium, while Liam Heath secured bronze in the kayak.
Holly Bradshaw did what countless before her had been unable to do, in grabbing an Olympic medal in the pole vault. Winning a bronze medal in the event, was a first for Team GB and a great boost for British Athletics.
3 more days of competition to go, and countless medals still up for grabs, with Team GB looking in major contention for quite a number of them. The mural isn’t over yet, so let’s hope the athletes can continue to maintain this fine run of form.
