It starting to feel a bit of a cliche at this point, but my goodness – another day, another wealth of athletic talent on display for Team GB – out in Tokyo. Another 5 medals to add to the mural today, bringing us up to 63 for the games so far, with a day to go.

Ethan Hayter, Matt Walls, track cycling, men’s Madison – SILVER

Josh Kerr, athletics, men’s 1500m – BRONZE

Tom Daley, diving, men’s 10m platform – BRONZE

That’s the penultimate day of the games complete and – heading into tomorrow – it’s a really bittersweet feeling. I’ve poured my soul into this piece and tomorrow it will reach it’s completion, with – at least a gold or silver in boxing – plus additional opportunities for medals in the velodrome, so fingers crossed we go out with a bang!
