Given how much time I spend in it, it’s amazing that I’ve put off renovating my home studio until now. That being said, maybe I appreciate the new space even more for it! To have a workspace that has plenty of natural light – complimented internal by some true white bulbs – is the dream. It allows me to work in the best light for my paintings, all of the time. Always making use of large, diverse, colour palettes, it’s important that I’m able to see the true colour in use, whilst I’m working and this setup accomplishes that.

Coupling all of this with warmth, space, hardy flooring and my latest audiobook listen and I’m in my zone. I’ve already been hard at work, making use of the new studio, painting a number of private commissions, including this Lion King inspired piece and this Harry Potter inspired piece!
