Another brilliant day for Team GB in the water! A 4 x 200m relay gold for Tom Dean, Duncan Scott, James Guy and Matt Richards, got us off to a dream start.

We also got our first rowing medal of the games, with the men’s quadruple sculls, grabbing a silver! Excellent stuff Harry Leask, Angus Groom, Tom Barras and Jack Beaumont.

The final medal of the day, was a special one. With a bronze medal yesterday, thrusting Charlotte Dujardin into joint position – as the most decorated female Olympian of all time – the pressure was on to go one better today. And she, along with her horse, Gio, did not disappoint. A bronze medal in the individual dressage, puts her firmly into the history books. She is now the sole most decorated female Olympian of time. Absolutely superb.
